====== State of the Art, Project Management and Documentation ====== Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend the first session of the Fabricademy, because I hadn’t fully decided whether or not I was going to take the course. This was mainly due to the fact that I’m still a student, and I’m currently coursing my final semester, so I’m working on my thesis. However, a good friend of mine managed to convince me and I contacted FabLab ESAN that same afternoon, to see if I still could sign up for the course. Yes, I could. My participation was confirmed Friday morning. Moreover, I learned about the course outline and the resources I’ll be using. The assignment for this class was to create a personal page in the wiki so that in the future I can upload my documentation. Given how I signed up late, I didn’t have a wiki page, so I started documenting in my computer. So, if you want to check my ideas, click here (link). When updating to the wiki, I had some difficulties with formatting since I had never edited a wiki page before. Thankfully, there’s a syntax page where I could check all of the different formats that are necessary when creating a page. In order to do so I followed these simple steps: * Logging in with my username and password * Clicking on this icon, located at the top right corner of the website.{{ :fabricademy2017:students:carlos.herbozo:screen_shot_2017-10-05_at_6.54.21_am.jpg?200|}} * Start editing Because I don’t have any experience with HTML, I was grateful when we were informed the this year’s documentation was to be done in a wiki. So, I truly recommend sketching your wiki page on a word or pages document, and then copying and pasting it to the wiki directly. This way you’ll have a backup of your work in case anything happens.\\
