Cutting textiles with laser is very fast and precise, having basic design skills can do very good jobs. By cutting with laser the fabrics cauterize the cutting area, so that the fabric does not fray and is more comfortable and faster to sew, saves the work of overcasting the seams and saves material.

Each machine has a similar operation, in my case I use an Epilog of 40w. The parameters that I have used are:
Felt
Speed: 70
Power: 40
Frequency: 880
Synthetic suede
Speed: 40
Power: 40
Frequency: 947
The parameters are approximate because it depends on whether the lens is dirty or the tube of the machine already has a working time …
I recommend you do a cutting test before cutting the whole piece.
