Using Concrete with Fabrics

We used concrete and I tried to replicate the 'fabric' shape and movement, but the concrete squished the fabric too much, even if I put a material underneath it,

Here are my results with the crystallization of different liquids:

Brainstorm Thought Process

To create a modular fabric, I experimented firstly with different shapes, and then afterwards with different hooks to hold the material.

I then drew it on Rhino:

And traced it to get it all on paper. I cut out in paper, and transparent paper-plastic too see the functionality.

This was the most important part for me, I think, because it was the only part that required thoughtful thinking, and afterwards the whole process became a lot more centered and focused. Having a vision in my head helped me understand what I wanted, and therfore I directed my questions and attention to that. As explained in previous documentation, it is a lot easier to upload it this way since I take my photos an they upload to google photos automatically. With the wiki, I have to first download them to my computer, then upload them to the server, and then put them on this page. Apart from all the extra work, I am unable to modify them, crop them or rotate them, so I left them on the google doc.
