E-Textiles and Wearables I
After learning about electric circuits and how they work we got to know conductive fabrics.
For creating a „switch“ I used Shieldex Kiel +30 and a non conductive fabric.
Using a 3V battery and alligator clamps I created a little electric circuit which really helped to understand the theory we learned in
the lecture.
Sewing an electric circuit
I basically replaced the alligator clamps with conductive wire in order to be able to stitch an electric circuit on fabric. Stitching was a bit tricky for me because everything was very small and you had to work very accurate. I created a little bag for the batteries. By pressing down the switch the LED will light up. If you would want to connect more LED's you only have to to stick them through the silver conductor.
