Final Presentation

A second skin which trigger by input feelings

As my final project in the Fabricademy, I
aim to create a interactive costume which
can mimic animal reaction in terms of
fear, breed and prototection. The reason
of the making this project is coming from
my previous emotinal process. There was
a time that I analyze every inch of my
skin. I create a illusinal distance between
my soul and my body. I was feeling, I
evolved a second sking in my head. I was
dealing with anxiety and depression at
the same time. Also I have ADHD and
dislexia problem. But among all off this
down feelings, I have to smile and seems
possitive with among with my colleuges,
family and friends. ALso be creative due
to my job. This conflict feelings drive me
to understand more animal instinct. I was
feeling more primative than ı used to
before. I was in the survival mood.

İt would be used by dancer,
actors/acteresses, performancer, etc..
Performancer using their body to
express themselfs. This emotinal
reactions can be more accurate with
this costume.
Experiences are strong inspiration
for Artists .This experiences could
be a naif movement of can reflect
with more strong and repretetive
movement. As a product, ı wantted
to mimic this movemnet with
animal movemnets in case of their
insticts;breed, protection or attaction.
