Project Description

Mould a balloon and create a textile shape

Inflate the balloon

fix the balloon

Glue 3 strips of double-sided tape on the balloon

Do not attempt to reposition the tape as this may cause the ball to burst.

wrap the balloon in cotton twine

place it on a stool so that you can turn around easily

finish with cotton twine

install the balloon in a ventilated area and protect the area from latex splashes
Mix latex with dye

Brush string and balloon

4 alternating layers of drying time

24 hours later, the latex has dried and is dark blue in colour

clean the brush

Brush a new layer to fill remaining holes
